Michelle of And Then? posted a great follow-up to my post on liturgical music.
I like this part of a discussion she had:
“If they understood what was being accomplished that day, I think they would have given Christ a standing ovation.” Because I didn’t want to drag out the discussion, I refrained from pointing out that, of all the witnesses to the Crucifixion, the Blessed Mother had the highest understanding of what was being accomplished by her Son that day and we do not see her leading a round of applause.
