The Church as a Family

This is a great analogy to the problem of today’s Church by Greg Popcak. The Church has become like a family where the parents fail to parent. Some become hyper responsible; others try to see what they can get away with. It’s so true that many hyper-responsible have been known to say and do some things that are rather out of bounds. I’m sure that searching this blog will reveal some stuff that I shouldn’t have said. I know of plenty of cases where others have just decided to go their own way and preach whatever garbage they wanted to. In an environment like this, trust is so difficult, but that is for another time.
